Kratom is a drug that's becoming more popular and known to the public. Though a controversial drug, many people have used it and have shown amazing results. It is a tree where leaves are used in a capsule, extract or pill form. Traditionally people picked these leaves fresh in the morning and brewed it like a tea and drank for stimulations and energy booster. It is considered to have a better effect than a coffee; it boosts the people's energy for a longer period.
A morning dose of this kept the lethargy away and helped them by keeping them energized and stimulated. Sometimes people chew the leaves or eaten with food. The kratom's scientific name is mitragyna speciosa, this tree is from the coffee family, and hence it has the same energizing effect. They are mainly from Southeast Asia; they grow natively in Malaysia and Thailand, basically on peninsular Malaysia and Thailand. The name also knows them of ketum, ithang, biak, kakuam, etc.
The plant's consumption doesn't appear to be deadly at normal doses, but overdosing can cause seizures, coma, and death. Even if it is not overdose, studies have shown that kratom can lead to permanent brain changes causing cognitive impairment and difficulty recalling memories. Starlight Kratom is like any other opioid that has abuse liability. At low doses, mitragyna speciosa could be okay, but it could also be highly habit-forming, dangerous, and even deadly.
Kratom has the potential to cause some euphoria. Similar to when a person takes a cup of coffee. It is a bit different in the use of kratom traditionally and the western world. The biggest difference is earlier people brew fresh as they are picked off the tree in the morning and use throughout the day.
